Hi there!
I'm a 29 year old from the UK, travelling in Chile, Argentina and Peru for 3-4 months while I take a break from my job at the BBC. I'm a keen hiker, and will be spending most of that time walking up or around mountains in Patagonia and Peru. I'd also love to spend some time learning to surf.
I've workawayed before, mainly in Canada. I spent three months in British Columbia, doing everything from landscaping to construction to dog walking. I also spent a couple of months in the far north, in the Yukon, helping out on a small farm. Extra activities included repairing an old sailboat and taking care of a gang of retired sled dogs! Finally, I spent a month on a small dairy farm, again in the Yukon, helping to build a grain silo, milking the cows and making cheese.
I've got a background in the hospitality industry, but have since shifted to a career in web development/data science. If you need help with computers, I should be able to lend a hand. I'm also an able gardener, drywaller, cook, painter... the list goes on, but basically if you need a hand, I'm happy to help.

Hannah and Zak were absolutely amazing guests to have around the homestead. Arriving in the midst of Covid they had self-isolated locally before coming to join us and were incredibly conscientious about staying isolated while staying with us. The two of them kept us entertained with board and card games (even making a Golden-Covid… read more
