Description

Hi, I'm Yuka from Japan.

I'm working 2 jobs right now, as a barista at tiny cafe, as a farmer at sugarcane farm on the remote island. Which is located at the southernmost point of Japan.
I like my current job and lifestyle but I've wanted to see more of the world.
So I decided to take a break and go on a trip from this autumn.
This time, I plan to visit three countries during my three-month stay.
First, I will visit Finland, then Estonia, and my last destination will be Denmark.

The purpose of my trip is...
I want to meet new people, learn about different cultures, and see the world from new perspectives.
I want to improve my English by conversing with English speakers. I also interested in the other languages.
I'm interested in food and cooking. I love exploring traditional cuisine and learning new recipes!
I'm not vegan but really interested in vegan kitchen or healthy food.

Craft is one of my hobby. I spend my free time with sewing and knitting... I love to make something with my hand and I sometimes sell handmade stuffs at the craft market.

I enjoy music. I play the piano and guitar, japanese flute.
Cat lover.

I have been to Denmark about 7years ago as a woofer at the free school. I taught craft for children and help in the kitchen. This experience still means a lot to me.

I'm still studying English and not fluent, but I still enjoy talking with people.
I can have a daily conversation.

I studied nutrition at university. So, kitchen is happy place for me.
Now I'm studying about Japanese Naturopathy by myself.
I enjoy to explore the therapeutic potential of plants.

I have been farmer for many years.
That's because I live in the countryside and there are many farms here and they need help in season.
I worked at a rice farm, vegetable farm, sugarcane farm....and so on.

I can’t speak English fluently, but I can have a daily conversation.
I'm studying English.
