Hi everyone, at the moment we're in Hakuba (Japan) to work during the winter season. After, we would like to explore more of Japan, see different cities and the beauty Japan has to offer.

Hi hosts and fellow travelers!

We are Ying, 24 years old, and At, 29 years old. At the moment we are in Hakuba (Japan) to work during the winter season. After, we would like to explore more of Japan, see different cities, the beautiful nature, experience the culture and meet new people. We have a valid working visa up till the end of 2025. We are open to try new things!

We live in the Netherlands in the city The Hague and we both work in hospitality. I work as a front of house manager in a beach club and At works as a chef, he is mostly interested in the Asian cuisine. In our free time we like to drink coffee, go out for diner, play games and try out new activities.

We are both born in Asia, but we're raised in the Netherlands with the Dutch culture. We are very interested in the Asian cultures and would like to explore this more by travelling. Besides the tourist activities, we would like to learn from the locals and about their lifestyle. Things you don't see when you're just a tourist. We thought 'WorkAway' will be an awesome way to explore this.

We are looking forward to meet new people, do things out of our comfort zone and go on adventures!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have finished my bachelors in Small Business and Retail Management. During my study I learned about marketing, finance, communication and (human resource) management. Besides that I teached gymnastics to children between the age of 4 and 12, I did this for almost 10 years. Curently I am working as a manager in a restaurant. I am strong in communication, organisation and management. Friends and family describes me as a hard worker, trustworthy, social and adventurous.

At has a lot of work experiences in the kitchen , he has worked as a sushi chef for almost 8 years. At the moment he works as a chef in a beach club. At has learned to be stress resistant, work efficient and has strong communication skills. I would describe At as a trustworthy, caring and helpfull person. Finally, he likes to explore and try out new things.
