Hello! I'm Yassir from Morocco. An open-minded and curious person who enjoys meeting people from different cultures and learning new things.

I joined Workaway because I believe traveling and volunteering is one of the best ways to grow as a person, improve languages, and share experiences with others. I’m a responsible and respectful person, and I like helping wherever I’m needed.

I’m happy to assist with different kinds of tasks, such as helping around the house, gardening, simple maintenance, welcoming guests, language exchange, or helping with daily activities. I enjoy teamwork and I’m always willing to learn new skills and since I spent much of my childhood in villages, I’m very comfortable around animals and enjoy taking care of them and looking after them. I’m also good when it comes to handyman work and carpentry. I can help with building fences, lofts, and even simple rooms using basic materials, and I really enjoy doing that kind of practical work.

I love traveling and meeting people from around the world. I’ve hosted more than 50 travelers through the Couchsurfing platform, which allowed me to make friends from many different countries. Because of that experience, I understand what it feels like to be a host and what hosts usually appreciate from their guests. Now I’m excited to experience the other side as a traveler, learn new things, and contribute wherever I can.

I'm also passionate about photography and love capturing moments that tell a story, whether it's landscapes, portraits, or street photography. I enjoy exploring new cities and cultures, and music is a big part of my life. I'm also a foodie at heart and enjoy experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a variety of practical and creative skills that I’m happy to share. I’m very confident when it comes to handyman tasks and carpentry. I can build many things using basic materials, such as fences, lofts, and simple structures, and I really enjoy working with my hands and helping with construction or maintenance projects.

I’m also good when it comes to customer service and interacting with people. I enjoy communicating with guests, helping them feel welcome, and creating a friendly environment.

In addition, I’m comfortable working with computers. I can help with spreadsheets, creating schedules, organizing PDF folders, and managing simple goals and task lists.

I also love photography and would be happy to help with taking photos and editing them for social media use.
