My name is Yasha, and I'm thrilled about the opportunity to connect with hosts on Workaway. I've just recently finished school where I studied French, Geography and Economics for A levels. I have a genuine interest in helping out and would love to also gain as much work experience as possible and try as many different jobs as I can, to hopefully learn some new skills.

I have studied French to A-level standard and would like to think I'm close to fluent in the language as I've spent lots of time in France. Russian was my first language but has slowly declined over the years which I'm very sad about and would love to get it back up to good level. I would love to learn a new language and develop my linguistic abilities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’m a hands-on worker with experience in small repair and maintenance tasks, both independently and as part of a team. I spent two weeks with a woodworking company just outside of Paris, where I gained practical skills in crafting and repair. I've also worked on a property in Scotland where I've taken on jobs. I'm also experienced in the use of machinery such as diggers, dumpers and chainsaws (under supervision as I don't have a licence). I'm a capable sailor with skills learnt from 3 years of national school level dinging sailing. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out practical solutions and take pride in leaving things better than I found them.
