Les activités qui nous intéressent :
Hi there! We are Rogier (32) and Charlotte (25) from the Netherlands. We enjoy to meet new people, get back to basic and to learn, share & prepare for our future off- grid homestead
Description
We are an adventurous couple looking to expand our experience for a rural life in Portugal. We are particulary interested in a permaculture/off-grid aproach. For now we want to volunteer in all kinds of labor related to living a self-sufficient life.
Our goal is to buy our own piece of land and start growing crops and keeping animals while also providing accomodation for tourists and other various activities.
For now we are looking to give meaning where we can and where it is needed and carry the new experiences with us to create our own future.Centres d’intérêt

Charlotte: Studied ecology & wildlife management and worked in hospitality & logistics as a side job. With my study I got the chance to work around Europe in a variety of fields with different kinds of mammals, reptiles, amphibians & birds of prey and I have a large background of working with pets and farm animals. Aswell some knowledge about permaculture, eco-tourism and maintaing systems.
I have previous experiences with Workaway in Bulgaria, Portugal and Spain which I enjoyed & learned a lot! I'm pretty much an all rounder and pick up new skills pretty quickly but i have a preferance for physical/farm/animalcare work. I see myself as a curious and creative person, I have a deep love for bonfire nights & hiking, aswell as getting lost with a painting or a good book.
Rogier: Studied physical therapy and worked as a physical therapist in a hospital. Worked mostly with elderly people post stroke and all kinds of surgery. Did start learning electrictian mechanic education, made it one year so can do the basics. Can't give you licenced electric installations hookups unfortunatly.
Interests: Self defence techniques, philosophy, and really hoping to learn as much handywork as possible. Also very interested in learning the portugues language e espero que falamos muito sobre viver nas boas esferas.
Side note: We both have some horsebackriding experience, (R-2y with lessons & exams) (C-5y No 'official' lessons, started bare-back for the 1st year)
And we have a dog, a big fella called Woody but he won't be traveling with us.Âge
