I grew up near Byron Bay/Mullumbimby, Australia, a beautiful sub-tropical rainforest. I have been enjoying my travels beginning in Mexico, connecting with the amazing communities around hiking, horses, rock-climbing and high-lining.

I grew up training, performing and teaching circus from the age of 5 until 21, where I learnt that personal growth is a result of a supportive environment that focuses on boundless play. Through circus I was able to foster my love of connecting with people from all walks of life.

I am very comfortable with hard work, I grew up on a large organic farm with 3 horses and two farm dogs. I am an energised and adaptable person with a wide variety of interests which stimulate my creative mind and physicality.

I went to university for Fine Arts, and then moved into studying Dressmaking & Costume Design. I enjoy studying and expanding my skill set.

I am passionate about artist-led communities, accepting differences and supporting uniqueness, facing fears and developing skills to share.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a strong artistic sensitivity, a natural creative flair and a love of selfless service.

I grew up with both my parents devoted to organic farming, my father built and is still building his house in the rainforest and this process has greatly impacted me. I am energised by hard work with good intentions. I love to get my hands into the earth, climb trees for pruning, turn soil, create compost, plant and tend. I have kept up gardening on small and large scales into my adulthood. I enjoy keeping a beautiful home, creating a good energy flow in a home space is a special talent of mine.

Being a Circus Teacher to children, adolescents, adults, and special needs persons for over a decade gave me a chance to develop trust, patience and healthy discipline. As a crew member of circus shows, whether FOH or site crew bumping in and/or out, I show skills in being a team-player, working safely with and around machinery, safely using the strength of my body, following and giving directions and taking initiative.

With experience working as a Dental Assistant in a Special Needs clinic, I show skills in compassion, problem-solving, de-escalation techniques, working in a team, and strict hygiene protocols. Working also on reception for the clinic, I show empathy to patients in difficult times whilst being clear and honest, organising spreadsheets and sending emails/making phone calls in a professional manner.

As an Artist Technician, I honed my knowledge in creative thinking, intuition and relationship building. I was able to work with my sensitivity to aesthetics, adding final touches to spaces, organising environments to be ergonomic and efficient, and being environmentally conscious with material choices and waste disposal.

And as a Costume Maker and seamstress I have practiced finding the balance between art and function, being body positive and inclusive, managing creative freedom and working to deadlines. I am able to think creatively, design, and then to construct, this is a joy of mine to bring ideas to life.
