Description

Hey! I'm Willie, a musician and sound engineer spending the next year traveling post-college. I am looking for travel buddies to go explore NZ. I would consider myself open-minded and honest. Born and raised in Montana, USA—I never shy away from hard work, especially if it is outdoors! I enjoy cooking and have years of bakery and restaurant experience. I grew up 15 minutes away from Glacier National Park so I am keen on nature conservation and its importance. I also grew up sailing the lakes and navigating the rivers of Montana. I have years of experience teaching music/drums to kids of all ages and enjoy working with kids. I am active and enjoy getting out for a hike, run, or a cycle daily. I also enjoy an intellectual conversation over an ice cold beer! I am not religious, nor do I have any dietary restrictions, nor am I a perfectionist—just a guy looking to make some great memories. I am planning on buying a used car and roadtripping the Northland/Waikato region in Oct and November, then settling down in Wellington to find work closer to January. I want to primarily holiday camp and stay at hostels. My goal is to get out for as many hikes, swims, and scenic drives as possible and enjoy NZ summer. If you want to tag along let me know!!!
