Hello!

We're an adventurous family with kids from the Czech Republic, trying to enjoy the present moment, the quality time together, explore the world and meet nice and inspiring people on the way. We don't need much and only travel with our four backpacks.

We long to learn about minimalistic ways of living, how to become sustainable and independent. We're looking mainly for families with kids; our experience is that the kids form a gang and thrive. On the way, we'd like to learn about your culture and habits, bring good vibes, laugh and hapiness, live your lifes on your place... and have fun with you!

Meet the crew:

Martin (33) – IT guy by profession, loves puzzles and finding solutions. Spent some time renovating our place, can do many manual jobs and learn fast. He enjoys DIY projects, building as well as harder work in the garden like pruning trees, digging ditches or chopping wood. When not working, you can find him wandering in the mountains, playing guitar, larping or trying to crack some puzzle.

Zuzka (32) – Mostly mum in the past years, helping out at an outdoor nursery. Kids and their boundless curiosity keep fascinating her. Always up for trying new things and loves living in the moment.

Anna (6) and Zoja (3.5) – Our two little adventurers live for outdoor play – think princesses, fairies, and exploring the great unknown. They're partners in crime, always up for fun.

Anna is a very curious soul, her inner need is to understand everything. Bedtime doesn't pass without answering many questions about how things work. She's a whirlwind of energy, dancing, climbing trees, and singing wherever she goes, and pulls anyone around in.

Zoja is her budding scientist, always eager to figure out the rules of the game. She loves helping in the kitchen. Interactive games and all-around goofiness are her specialties.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Zuzana:

When I was a kid I loved helping my grandma in her garden. So I can help with harvesting the fruits, caring about plants, creating of new plant areas (herbs spirals, mandalas, etc..) and I am opened to learn anything new. I am really interested in medical use of plants as my grandma tought me about them. I'm totally amazed by peruvian and amazonas 'superpowerfull' plants and I'd love to learn about them!

I love to have my hands dirty so I have all my enthusiasm for natural building projects. I have already worked on building natural walls and prepared mud aloe based layers or built natural staircase. I am a quick learner so I am opened to try other ways of natural building🙂

I love to have space around me in harmony, so I always think how to improve it - clean it, reorganise ot or create some small arts (mosaics, small natural decorations etc.)

Cooking or baking is also my field, usually do it with my kids. When staying on some place it made me happy to cook or bake for all lovely people around me. I also love to make homemade marmelades, fermented veggies or sweets. On my last workaway I created a new reciepe for Lukuma balls🙂

Playing with kids? I love that! Should I be a princess or a big monster? Or we can sing and dance, paint, build a small forest houses from moss, cones and sticks. I have always a true adventure with kids:)

Housecare? Of course, it's a normal part of living🙂

Martin:
While my professional background is in IT, I'm enthusiastic about tackling various home improvement tasks and DIY projects. From tearing down old constructions to renovating homes (most of the professions), I'm eager to contribute my versatile skill set and learn something new on the way.

Outside of work, I can play guitar (even though haven't practiced for a while),

Kids

Girls love trying new things and helping with all kinds of projects. Doesn't matter they work 15-30 minutes and than continue playing. They can help with gardening and harvesting fruits and veggies, natural building projects, small arts and also with cleaning
