Will came here primarily to work on a roofing job as we were aware of his building experience. However, the roofing job was on hold almost the entire time he was here due to a delay in supplies. I was in awe of this place, and the community who make it all possible. I helped for three weeks here, and loved every minute of it.
The little farm is well set up, and run with precision. The large vegetable gardens are very productive, and the fresh dairy produce was well appreciated.

Will was a great Workawayer helping us out with various jobs including shed repair and painting, radical hedge cutting, rebuilding raised beds, muck shovelling, heavy fence repair, wood chopping, gutter clearing and scrub clearing. Will was with us for 6 weeks and basically was excellent, in fact excellent plus. Any job he was given was done to a very high standard. Stripping out fencing in preparation for new, wood chopping, cleaning out the shed, grass cutting, strimming, moving cattle. Will was with us for about 2 months in the middle of winter, not the best time to visit the Robson Valley unless you are a snow mobiler. which he wasn't. He was anxious to learn things about our herd of Beef cattle and how and what type of feed we feed in the winter. I stayed at the farm for almost two months, it was all as described. I could have stayed much longer. I enjoyed all of the varied work and the social aspect was good too. A lovely farm and a lovely family. It was good seeing how Rich and Sarah can manage their land to the benefit of nature and still be farming productively. I certainly learned a few things. I spent 5 weeks at the farm with Harald, Ingeborg, the family and other workers. I was well looked after and learned a great deal about their lovely friendly cows and Norwegian culture. Will stayed with us for 2 months and in that short time he achieved a great deal, he cleared a very overgrown garden, mowing, strimming, repairing benches, and helping on the farm with all the day to day tasks including lambing, feeding, littering even dog walking!

Donna and John are great. I was able to learn so much from their dedication and expertise.

Owen and Jane are friendly and welcoming hosts, they showed me around many of the sights in this beautiful part of Pembrokeshire. The work was interesting and varied, the accommodation was comfortable and the food was good.

Will was a brilliant Workaway. Helpful, tidy, polite and got stuck into all jobs with enthusiasm and thoughtfulness. He was a real assistance in all the projects we had going. Also good entertainment value, we enjoyed his company and were sorry to say goodbye.
