Hello Canada!

I got my Work & Travel visa and I'm planning to start my new adventure already this November.

My idea for the coming year is to:
- spend most of that time in nature (I love mountains - both hiking or snowboarding),
- participate in some interesting local projects,
- and start to draw again just for fun (haven't done much of that lately).

It will be my 3rd season with Workaway – a few years ago I had a great time volunteering in Europe and Turkey, and in 2025 I had a chance to visit some remote places around Brazil. Now it's time to see another continent.


Who am I:
I'm an outdoor person who likes to stay active even on a cloudy or rainy day - it can be a solitary hike or rock-climbing with friends. I also enjoy playing cards/ RPG or sketching and reading books while having a tea.
When traveling, I appreciate opportunity to stay longer in a one place - it gives me a chance to fall into a local life's rhythm and get closer to the people.


My Winter wishlist to see is:
- Tofino (Storm watching)
- Capilano (Canyon's lights)
- Northern Lights

At some point I would like to learn:
dog sledding/ horse riding / 3d Blender and 3d printing


Where I can help you:
✦ with organizing events - for a few years I was working in NGO organizing and coordinating events for international students. I was also volunteering at photo and design festivals, and fashion shows.
✦ in a workshop - I enjoy crafty jobs, so I can help with painting walls, murals or some DIY. I also studied architecture and did plenty of paper models by hand.
✦ in tourism - I did previously some hostel jobs (reception, tourist-guide, housekeeping) and I'm happy to do it again.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a volunteer, I had various jobs, including:
- painting a few murals at summer resort;
- designing and building wooden outdoor structures (garden bridge, geodesic bamboo ball, cabin entrance -> a few photos are in my gallery);
- work in hostels (reception, cleaning, informing guests about city attractions and transport);
- general house maintenance in countryside (painting walls & furniture, cleaning, gardening, cooking).

Some of my other skills:
- organizing & coordinating events - for 3 years I was working for an international NGO organizing job fairs, cultural exchanges & engineering competitions for students;
- architecture - I have a bachelor degree in architecture, I can help with a building inventory, 2d CAD drawings or simple 3d model (in SketchUp)
- drawing & design - for several years I worked as an illustrator creating fantasy & sci-fi designs for a couple of games and magazines.

I am curious about learning new things and understanding how they work. I pay attention to detail and observe how others do their jobs, and when necessary, I am not afraid to ask questions. When working in a group I trust my teammates and give my all to fulfil my role.
