Friends, hello everyone! My name is Vitaly. I turned 40 exactly on August 16th (I can't even believe it!). I'm an engineer by profession, but I haven't worked in engineering for a long time. My last job was as a bus driver! I love to travel. I was born in Izhevsk, in the Udmurt Republic (Russia). After graduating, I moved to St. Petersburg (around 2014). I've always been inspired by the architecture of this beautiful European city. Also around the famous city center are numerous tourist spots, parks, and palaces dating back to the tsarist and imperial eras.
But I prefer relaxing by the lakes in the region north of St. Petersburg. I'm inspired by the wilder nature, so to speak. In the summer of 2022, I went traveling. Before that, I'd only frequently traveled between the two cities where I lived and visited Finland. But the situation in Russia inspired me to start traveling! I started my journey in India. Puttaparthi and Goa, but also Hampi, Chennai—in short, there were many interesting places. There I started blogging on YouTube. You can find me under the name Vito Valen (the same there is a link to my Facebook page). Then I flew to Latin America. I can say I knew nothing (not about India or Latin America before) and was already researching shortly before my trips. So I lived in Argentina for 11 months. I studied Spanish and Portuguese and local cuisine on a cooking course, did physical exercise, and got to know the people and the surrounding area. In short, after that, it was Brazil, Central America, and Mexico. I adore Latin America. I want to go back to study, learn languages, help people, find my place, where I want to stay permanently...

My native language is Russian. At the same time, I feel quite comfortable communicating in English. I studied English from the first grade of elementary school all the way through university, and of course, I periodically return to it and maintain my skills. English really helped me when traveling in Asia. When I lived in India and decided to fly to Latin America, I realized I couldn't do without Spanish. I've been studying Spanish since 2023 and completed a course at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA - A2). Also, when I have free time, I try to listen to something in Spanish. Portuguese is still new to me, but I already understand some things (due to its similarity to Spanish) and can express myself (I once lived in Brazil for almost two months).

2. “Instituto Argentino de Gastronomia” Carrera cocinero professional - chef courses.
On plants I worked like:
1. Machine operator on CNC machines with a Heidenhain stand, HAAS and Fanuc; worked on bending machines;
2. Furniture assembly worker on CNC machine Busellato Jet Optima C21;
3. Design engineer with Solid Works (work on the creation of new samples and their testing; Calculation, design of 3D models in special programs, as well as 2D drawings);
4. Foreman (ordering, measuring tools, consumables in accordance with the technical process; control of the manufacture of fixtures, mechanical operations, heat treatment, coating.
AND MY LAST JOB, WHICH I LOVE VERY MUCH, IS THAT I'M A 12-METRE BUS DRIVER AND I HAVE Driver's license category B (car), Tractor B & C (loader).

I'm quite an active person. I have computer skills (video editing, designing furniture and various products in Solid Works, office programs, and I can type with ten fingers). I love to travel and communicate with people. I want to help people. I once dreamed of owning my own hostel (hotel) so that travelers could stay there, exchange experiences and things, create joint creative projects and culinary experiments (perhaps this dream will come true). I also enjoy sports: running, cycling, swimming, football, hockey, and yoga. I would like to do the splits (but I never have enough time). I can help you with car trips (as a driver), as well as on a large bus, and I even once got a license for a farm tractor. I am responsible, quick to learn, and attentive to detail. I love reading and listening to audiobooks. No bad habits. Let's build, cook, and create together.
