Victoria & Zoe – Adventurous, Creative, and Hardworking Duo

Hello! We’re Victoria and Zoe, two lifelong friends who met in middle school and have been inseparable ever since. Our shared love for creativity, culture, and hands-on experiences has taken us on many adventures, and now, we’re eager to embark on a new journey through Workaway!

🌍 Why We Want to Workaway:
We believe that the best way to experience a new place is not just by visiting but by immersing ourselves in the local culture and contributing to a meaningful project. We love the idea of exchanging our skills and hard work for the opportunity to live in a beautiful setting, meet new people, and learn from different experiences. Workaway gives us the perfect chance to do this while working as a team, learning new skills, and making lasting memories.

🎓 What We Bring to the Table:
We have diverse backgrounds that make us a well-rounded team:
- Zoe has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Design and Innovation, giving her expertise in eco-friendly solutions, creative problem-solving, and design thinking. She’s great at hands-on projects, from gardening and DIY renovations to decorating and optimising spaces.
- Victoria holds a Master’s in International Business & Supply Chain Management, bringing strong organisational, marketing, and logistical skills to the table. She’s detail-oriented and enjoys managing tasks, coordinating projects, and ensuring things run smoothly.
- We both went to an international high school and have dual-nationality parents (British/French), making us bilingual in French and English. Zoe speaks Spanish well, and Victoria took part in a summer exchange programme in Morocco.
- We also have a deep appreciation for art, having studied English Literature and Art in high school, so we love painting, decorating, and adding creative touches to spaces.

🎨 Art Projects & Decorating - We love creating unique, beautiful spaces through painting, mural work, and DIY projects.
🌺 Gardening & Outdoor Maintenance - We enjoy working outside, whether it’s taking care of plants, maintaining the garden, or improving outdoor areas.
💬 Marketing, Promotion, Organisation & Administration - With our backgrounds in business and design, we can help take professional photos, update websites, manage organisational tasks, and improve branding and promotion strategies.
👩🏼‍🍳 Cooking - We both love food and are happy to help prepare meals and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
🐙 Animals - We are passionate about animals and wildlife and eager to contribute to their well-being. Ready to learn and adapt, we are committed to making a positive impact.

We are a versatile and motivated duo with a wide range of skills, making us adaptable to many Workaway projects. Whether it’s hands-on tasks, creative work, or organisational support, we are eager to contribute and learn along the way.

🛠️ We Love Getting Involved in Hands-On Work
We both enjoy working with our hands, whether it’s painting, small DIY projects, or general maintenance. Zoe, with her design background, has experience optimising spaces and adding creative touches, while Victoria enjoys keeping things organised and making sure everything runs smoothly. We’re happy to help around the house, do basic repairs, and take on small building tasks. Gardening is something we also enjoy—we love being outdoors, taking care of plants, maintaining green spaces, and making outdoor areas more inviting.

🎨 Creativity Is at the Heart of What We Do
Art and design have always been a big part of our lives. We both studied art in high school, and Zoe went on to pursue a degree in sustainable design and innovation, bringing her skills in visual storytelling, decoration, and creative problem-solving. Victoria has a great eye for aesthetics and organisation, so together, we love working on art projects, decorating spaces, and bringing unique ideas to life. Photography is another shared passion—Zoe has experience working with content creation and design, while Victoria also enjoys taking photos to capture special moments and tell a story.

📢 We’re Organised and Love Helping with Marketing & Digital Work
With Victoria’s bachelor’s in digital marketing and a master’s in international business, and Zoe’s experience in design thinking and innovation, we make a great team when it comes to marketing, social media, organisation, and administration. We love helping with branding, website updates, and content creation, and we’re always excited to brainstorm ideas to improve communication and engagement. If hosts need help with structuring tasks, organising information, or keeping things running efficiently, we’re more than happy to assist.

🍽️ Cooking, Hospitality & Everyday Life
We both love good food and enjoy cooking, especially in a communal setting where we can share meals with others. Whether it’s preparing simple, home-cooked meals or helping with meal planning, we’re happy to contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment. Hospitality is something we naturally enjoy—making spaces feel inviting, helping with guests, and ensuring everything is tidy and comfortable.

🌍 We Love Languages, Animals & Community Projects
Having grown up in international environments, we’re both bilingual in French and English, and Zoe also speaks Spanish from her exchange in Chile. We love meeting people from different cultures, exchanging languages, and learning new perspectives. We also have a soft spot for animals and would love to help with pet care, feeding, or simply spending time with them. Giving back is important to us, and we’re always eager to take part in community-driven projects, charity work, or eco-friendly initiatives that make a difference.
