Hi, my name is Veronika! Originally, I'm from Russia. I’m currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Biology in the United States and planning to travel to SE Asia after graduation. I would like to do a gap year there!
Being part of a community and doing something bigger than myself brings me happiness. Connecting with different people, learning about their cultures in a respectful way, and making friends from all over the world are also on my happy list! I enjoy working with children, as well as being in places where I can learn new skills, slow down, and experience local life more deeply rather than just passing through as a tourist.
I’m also very motivated by personal growth - I strongly believe that travelling and seeing how people live and what matters to them not only teaches you about their culture, but it also teaches you so much about yourself. Speaking from personal experience, moving abroad for college at 18 brought me so much insight into what kind of person I am and what I want to do with my life! So I'm very excited about continuing to travel and getting to know myself better.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working with children in a sports context, mainly through tennis coaching, where I helped kids learn basic skills, stay focused, and improve through practice. I also have experience as a writing tutor at my university’s writing center, where I supported peers with academic writing and communication skills.
I am fluent in both Russian and English, which helps me communicate easily with people from different backgrounds and adapt to international environments.
I’m also happy to help with general household tasks, light cleaning, or any simple daily support when needed.
Overall, I’m a motivated quick learner and I'm genuinely interested in contributing while learning from the experience.
