Description
Hi! We are an international couple and we love to travel, get to know new cultures, and learning new things. We’re excited to contribute to meaningful projects, explore new places, and make connections :)

Paolo: I’m Italian, active, and social, enjoying climbing, football, winter sports, water sports, and beach volleyball. I work as a health sciences researcher with an academic background in sports.

Vera: I am Dutch, I enjoy traveling, reading, climbing, and participating in social projects. I’m empathic and a good listener. I work as a social worker for the Red Cross in a refugee center and enjoy engaging with communities.

We’re interested to learn about self-sustaining ecosystems, construction, social initiatives, and animal care. We are traveling for some months in Latin America and we would love to get to know this part of the world better also through volunteering. We believe it would be nice exchange of learning new things and giving something back as well. And of course it's a nice adventure! :)

Paolo: I have a degree in Sport Science and work as a health sciences researcher. I’ve taught various sports as a swimming instructor, personal trainer, lifeguard, and football coach, with experience working with kids at summer camps. I speak Italian, English, Dutch, and am learning Spanish. I’m skilled at basic home repairs, learn quickly with hands-on tasks, teaching, love animals, and enjoy cooking.

Vera: I did my studies in International Development Studies and Anthropology. I worked as a social worker at a Red Cross refugee center, supporting people from different backgrounds, organizing activities, and maintaining the center on a practical level. I also interned with UNICEF and organized summer camps for children abroad. I have experience in language exchange, event catering, venue renovations (painting and cleaning), and different kinds of home projects.

We really enjoyed staying at Roci’s place! Roci is so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were comfortable and often brought some food from the market.
