Hello I am Vasco.
I was born and raised in the Azores (9 Portuguese islands in the middle of the Atlantic), it's a quite place with lots of nature!

I am a quite person, tidy, maybe be a little shy at the beginning, but I think in general I am a very easy going person.

I love to travel and I find in workaway a great way to meet new people and new cultures. As well as having the opportunity to learn new skills or develop some.

I have some experience in the fields because as I come from a small community we produce a lot of stuff at home, and my uncle has some flowers fields that we harvest every winter to export.

I know some basics of cooking.
Have some experience in the first aids field as I worked as a firefighter and lifeguard.

I have done quite a few workaways so far and I loved the experiences I had 😁

It was a real pleasure having Vasco in the farm. He helped out with the garden, the animals really well. We enjoyed his cooking..and he loves to cook. We had a good exchange of stories and experiences during the free time.
We would welcome Vasco again to our farm anytime he is in the region.

This beautiful family invited me to do this volunteering with them and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
