Hello potential Hosts !

I'm Vanessa from Switzerland, I'm 35, actually travelling around Europe with Ted - my converted blue van !

I'm an adventurous and energetic person with a strong work ethic and a deep love for horses and nature. I started riding when I was just three years old !

I'm part of the Swiss Army logistics troops that works with horses (go see my photos !), so over the years, I gained extensive experience in horse care and handling. During that time, I was involved in their daily management, training, and care, and also transporting equipment on their back, fixing mountains' paths, or moving logs with their power.

I’m now looking for a place where I can fully immerse myself in the equestrian world again !.... because, sadly, for the past 10 years, I haven’t had the opportunity for prolonged contact with horses, and I truly miss it.

My recent job as a military observer for the United Nations has led me to travel extensively, and discover many cultures like Syria, Israël, Kashmir, Pakistan, India, Bosnia-Herzegovina and more. While this was an incredible experience, I now aspire to a more grounded lifestyle, focusing on hands-on work and reconnecting with animals and nature!

I am eager to take part in all aspects of horse care and farm life —feeding, grooming, training, stable work, and riding—while learning new approaches to working with horses... -->> One of my biggest dreams is to discover horsemanship, as my background has been mainly in classical riding.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

With a background in the Swiss Army, I got to experience quiet a lot of everyday outdoor handwork under pressure and any meteo... so I really enjoy physical labor and being outside (but without too much pressure is also ok ;-).

I have been around horses for years, but not recently so I'd love to refresh my knowledge. I am eager to take part in all aspects of horse care—feeding, grooming, training, stable work, and riding—while learning new approaches to working with horses...

Some years ago I worked in an event agency, so I'm really good at organizing.

- practice daily yoga/meditation
- go for a hike/run with dogs
- go for bike tour or have a swim
- cooking vegan dishes (I'm flexitarian, but don't really like cooking meat/fish :(
- reading for hours under a tree
- learn about astrology, psychology, the functioning of our body, the meaning of life...
- writing, learning
... or just contemplate.

I'm very autonomous, I can very well organize my free time even in a very remote place !
