Hello,
I'm Val, originally from Melbourne Australia but have been on the move since May 2024. I am a freelance contemporary dancer/maker and am most happy when I'm working on creative projects, in nature, seeing new things and meeting new people.

I'd say I'm an adventurous person, I enjoy a bit of silliness but am also hard working and like to get the job done.
I've had a few workaway experiences now and have enjoyed each and every one for their unique gifts. I have found myself in places I could have never imagined, and I'm learning so much along the way.
Thanks to all my wonderful workaway hosts thus far I have experienced au pairing in Italy, volunteering at a guest/arts house in Portugal, volunteering at a cultural association in Fes, and pet sitting/maintaining a cabin in the mountains of Morocco.

The more workaways I do the more I think I'd like to become a host someday as I feel so lucky to learn, share and travel in this way.
