Hello, world!

My name is Valentina, I’m 35 years old, and I’m from Italy.

Over the past few years, I’ve embraced a nomadic lifestyle, which has been a perfect fit for me. I usually travel in my van, enjoying the freedom it offers. I started my journey as a digital nomad 5 years ago, and last year I took on a role as a university lecturer in the Netherlands. After spending a year there, I found myself missing the nomadic life, so I decided to hit the road again.

Professionally, I’m a lawyer specializing in data protection law, and I currently work as a freelance privacy consultant. I have a strong passion for continuous learning, personal growth, and exploring new experiences. Before focusing on law, I worked as a yoga teacher, which remains one of my greatest passions. I’ve been practicing yoga consistently since 2014 and became a certified instructor in 2017.

I also had the pleasure of working as a Workawayer in Denmark, Sweden, and Montenegro, where I assisted with B&B management, helped at a yoga studio, and worked on a permaculture project, respectively. In February 2025, I had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with elephants in Thailand, an experience that further deepened my love and respect for animals and nature.

Growing up in a small village in the countryside near Florence, I developed a love for hiking and spending time with animals of all kinds.

I’m excited to connect with new hosts and fellow Workawayers, share experiences, learn new skills, and create meaningful connections along the way.

Content Creation and Social Media Management: Experience managing social media channels and creating content for a non-profit organization.

Yoga Instruction: Certified yoga teacher with several years of experience in both practicing and teaching yoga.

Language Skills: Native Italian speaker and proficient in English.

Travel Planning: Skilled in planning and organizing long-term travel and nomadic lifestyles.

Animal Care: Comfortable and experienced in interacting with and caring for animals.
