We’re a family of three with our little Mira (2.5 y.o.). We love children, animals/pets, nature (hikes, lakes, waterfalls), meeting people from different cultures, and sharing travel stories

Hi, dear Host! We’re Ivan, Sveta, and our daughter Mira (2.5). In 2018, we started a backpacking trip around the world — and when we reached Brazil, we loved it so much that we decided to stay. Now we’re preparing for a big road trip across Latin America, and one of our first dreams is to drive all the way to Patagonia in our own car (yes, we’re ready for the colder weather as Russians 😊 ). We’ve visited around 40 countries, and along the way we often stayed with locals through Workaway and Couchsurfing. Those experiences became some of our best memories — real cultural exchange, shared daily life, and meaningful connections.

We enjoy caring for pets and animals, spending time in nature (parks, hikes, waterfalls, beaches), kid-friendly activities, and sports. We also have experience organizing events and activities for both kids and adults in different countries, so we naturally enjoy creating a warm, positive atmosphere.

Mira loves animals, other kids, and adults — she truly loves the whole world. Her name means “Peace in the World.” Even though she’s still very young, she already attends horse lessons, swimming classes, and music activities, and she enjoys sports and creative projects. She speaks two languages (Russian and Portuguese) and loves meeting new people — and animals too!

We’ve been living in Brazil for almost 3 years, and we have a good level of Portuguese. We think Spanish will come naturally to us as well. We’re tidy, respectful, and easy to communicate with. We don’t like rushing — we prefer a calm rhythm, good planning, and doing things properly. At the same time, we’re flexible, adventurous, and adaptable, and we always try to leave a place better than we found it.

¡Hola, querido/a anfitrión/a! Somos Iván, Sveta y nuestra hija Mira (2,5 años). En 2018 comenzamos un viaje con mochilas alrededor del mundo y, cuando llegamos a Brasil, nos gustó tanto que decidimos quedarnos a vivir aquí. Ahora estamos preparando un gran viaje por carretera por América Latina, y uno de nuestros primeros sueños es conducir hasta la Patagonia en nuestro propio auto (sí, como rusos, estamos listos para el clima más frío 😊). Hemos visitado alrededor de 40 países y, a lo largo del camino, a menudo nos alojamos con gente local a través de Workaway y Couchsurfing. Esas experiencias se convirtieron en algunos de nuestros mejores recuerdos: intercambio cultural real, vida cotidiana compartida y conexiones significativas.

Nos gusta cuidar de mascotas y animales, pasar tiempo en la naturaleza (parques, caminatas, cascadas, playas), hacer actividades para niños y practicar deportes. También tenemos experiencia organizando eventos y actividades tanto para niños como para adultos en distintos países, así que, naturalmente, disfrutamos de crear un ambiente cálido y positivo.

A Mira le encantan los animales, los otros niños y los adultos — de verdad ama el mundo entero. Su nombre significa “Paz en el mundo”. Aunque todavía es muy pequeña, ya toma clases de equitación, natación y música y disfruta del deporte y de actividades creativas. Habla dos idiomas (ruso y portugués) y le encanta conocer gente nueva… ¡y también animales!

Vivimos en Brasil desde hace casi 3 años y tenemos un buen nivel de portugués. Creemos que el español también se nos dará de forma natural. Somos ordenados, respetuosos y fáciles de comunicar. No nos gusta ir con prisas: preferimos un ritmo tranquilo, una buena planificación y hacer las cosas bien. Al mismo tiempo, somos flexibles, aventureros y adaptables y siempre intentamos dejar el lugar mejor de cómo lo encontramos.
