Hello! Originally from separate coasts of England, South East and South West, we met in London, where we've been living and working for the last few years.

Tom is a high school history teacher, taking a break after working in an inner city school for the last 6 years. He has a real enthusiasm for the great outdoors, and has trained and led young people in hikng expeditions across the UK. Beyond this, Tom enjoys playing various stringed instruments and has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also loves cricket, although is much more skilled at watching rather than playing it!

Hannah has been working as a singer and music teacher. She loves to bring music to community's having worked with multiple community choirs in London. She is from a big family, oldest of 5 and has worked as an aupair in Italy. When she's not singing she loves exploring the outdoors, hiking and swimming.

We have both travelled to New Zealand primarily for an adventure but we're keen to help others, gain new skills and learn about how others live by woofing as we travel in our van.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Tom is a qualified secondary school teacher, with experience teaching history, politics, religious studies and outdoor education. He is a very experienced hiker and first aid qualified - these skills were further developed in leading young people on expeditions. He has volunteered with the London Wildlife Trust, participating in conservation projects in South London. He therefore has some knowledge of conservation but is very keen to learn more. He also plays guitar and Irish bouzouki and has played twice at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Hannah is a professional Opera singer having performed on the opera stage in many productions both in England and Europe. She She is also passionate about teaching and encouraging others to find their voice. She has also worked as an administrator for many organisations and charities and enjoyed many roles in hospitality including working as a brunch chef. Hannah loves painting, cooking and hiking. She is keen to gain more experience in gardening, permaculture and sustainability.
