Description
I am looking for a new challenge outside my comfort zone, where I can learn new skills, meet new friends, and create lasting experiences. I am twenty years old and at a stage in my life where I'm not certain about what I want to do next, but I have always wanted to travel and experience different cultures. I am also very outdoorsy, so this feels like the perfect next step in my life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Gardening- For as long as I can remember, my family have been gardening lovers, and I have inherited that love, as I love gardening and working with plants. I consider myself a nature enthusiast. I have my own fruit and veg patch in my garden, which I use regularly in meals. I maintain it frequently through watering, feeding, weeding, and even staking after heavy rain. All our kitchen scraps go into our compost. Once broken down, it gets used for planting.
Construction/carpentry- I won't pretend to have expertise in this area; however, I have a fair amount of basic experience from scouts, school, college and in particular, home life. With scouts and at school, we built a number of large wooden structures, during which I learned to use many new tools, as well as painting and varnishing. My friends and I would always build TPs and dens in the woods. At home, I have built quite a few fences, and with my dad, we built a brick wall in the garden and secured it with cement, leaving small gaps for wildlife. I am used to doing a bunch of different DIY jobs around the house as well.
Livestock-I briefly worked for a family friend on her farm, where I cleaned out the coops and stalls, fed the sheep, pigs, and chickens. Chickens, in particular, I have a lot of experience with, as we used to own several, so I was in charge of thinking of creative ways to keep out the foxes and rats. Throughout my life, I have been looking after and owning lots of different animals, like fish, which I love building aquariums for, dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, etc.
Food and Cooking- Every day, I love to cook for myself and my family. Whatever it is, I love working with all types of food and cooking a variety of cuisines. I like to eat healthy and use a lot of natural ingredients, which I get from local markets, butchers, and grow in my garden, such as fruit, vegetables, and herbs.
Being creative with food is always great fun. I love inviting friends round to try new dishes I've come up with.
Pressure and creativity- I am used to being under pressure at work when everyone is running around, stressing out, and things are constantly breaking, which means we need to think of new creative ways to work around these problems. I like being creative, whether through art, cooking and writing. I am currently in the beginning stages of a book I'm writing. I can't wait to read it upon completion.
Pond work- briefly, I was working for a local business where we were digging out ponds in people's gardens. This entailed removing plants and rocks, scaping and levelling the area, then digging out the pond. Sometimes we would run into boulders and pipes, which we would have to either remove or work around. Once we had finished, we would tidy up any mess made, then leave it to be lined and filled with water. For my geography A-level field trip, we studied and monitored water infiltration and soil saturation. I also learned about sustainable agriculture, such as drip irrigation. -

Autres infos...
To be honest, I'm pretty happy doing whatever, whether that's sports, games, reading, card games, or food. I am, however, especially interested in the outdoors and nature, such as hiking, wild swimming, camping, birdwatching, and snorkelling. I just usually prefer outdoor and physical activities. Going back to sports, I am most interested in football and martial arts, but again, I am more than happy to do most things.
