We are exploring, housesitting and doing paid work at the moment in Andalusia. Afterwards we hope to explore Portugal and more of Spain🍀✨📍

Description

In the beginning of May 2023 we left our homes in The Netherlands to fully dedicate our time to travel, learn new skills and share our own. Armed with our rooftop-tent, solar system and cast-iron pans we hope to see much more of Europe.
We plan to stay out in the volentering-world for a while and help hosts with their projects and add some good energy and fun vibes while doing that.

What we hope to achieve:
- to be more connected with nature.
- to experience and immerse ourselves in other cultures.
- to learn self sufficiency and self (food) sovereignty.
- to share knowledge and do projects without money as a driving motive.
and, of course, making new friends.

Since this is our full-time way of life we always hope to have our a private room (or own whatever-private-space) while WA'en.

We are two well traveled adults that have owned businesses, worked all of our lives and have a multitude of skills covering many aspects. We are not afraid to get stuck in hard work but we appreciate being treated as an asset to a working environment and not as easy labour. We'd love to help you and we love to learn something new. What can we learn at your place?

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

T. is is tree surgeon, musician and loves to cook & make photos.

As an experienced tree-climber and tree-doctor T. has an eye for solutions when it comes to outdoor-challenges, always with a hands-on but well thought-through approach. Learning something totally new, something to go for, with full focus really gets him out of bed in the morning.

As he travelled the world touring and making music its now time to experience new places without the rush and an extra eye for detail. The photo's he makes are worth sitting down for. In case of a new 'local-recipe-learning-emergency', T. always brings his sharpened cooking knife to get inspired in the kitchen.

His latest obsessions are axes, individual sovereignty, beef tallow and leather boots.

A. is a professional community builder and loves to draw & write.

As someone who has built-up several creative communities from scratch (from empty building to full functioning long-term community) she knows how to connect people, come up with creative solutions and organise the 'organised'. She has set up many festivals and events, and loves being a good host.

Writing and journalling are her ways to relax even though there is always a new little project brewing in her mind.

As a company owner and creative hub builder in the city of Rotterdam it's now time for A. to get her hands dirty and become inspired by the other community's of the world. With her art- and theatre-school diploma's in her back-pocket she hopes to contribute to creative projects as well.

Her latest obsessions are: making fire, minimalism, tent-building and raw milk.

We love to walk through the forest, climb a tree sometimes, visit farmers for fresh milk, meat, fruits & veggies, love good outdoor gear and (cuddeling) animals. We sometimes dance all night but can be just as happy reading a book with a good wine.

We are always very interested in what others consider 'good food'. We ourselves eat meat, eggs and dairy and try to reduce our intake of processed oils and processed foods as much as possible. We do this because we thrive most on these animal based and 'whole' foods but it's also because of health and medical reasons (which we are always happy to discuss, please just ask) 🍴🍀

During our travels and during our housesits we do proffesional (paid) tree and gardenwork. This is how we earn our income to keep on travelling.
So we are always up for a conversation if you need specific work done on your property.🌳🪵🪢

We hope for unexpected adventures, see more of nature, eat local dishes and do things we never thought we could.
