Hello! My name is Tobias, I’m 24 years old from Berlin. I’ve just finished my biology bachelor’s degree, and before starting my master’s this winter, I’m eager to spend some time away from Germany working outdoors and experiencing new countries and their cultures.

I’m an enthusiastic, friendly, and positive person with a lot of energy, ready to tackle any task that comes my way. In my free time, I love being active and enjoy a variety of sports such as rock climbing, hiking, yoga, surfing, volleyball, and tennis. I also have a passion for cooking and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I’m excited about the opportunity to meet new people, learn from different cultures, and contribute to meaningful projects. Whether it’s gardening, maintenance work, DIY projects, or any kind of work interacting with other people. I’m open-minded and ready to help out wherever needed.

I am more than excited to start this adventure and making long lasting connections along the way!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a very active person who loves climbing, surfing, tennis, volleyball—pretty much anything that involves moving around and challenging myself! I also enjoy working outside in the sun. My first Workaway experience was at a farm in the French Pyrenees, where I spent two months caring for animals, preparing fields for new crops, and engaging in some DIY projects, like building a wall for their two goats. It was all new to me but incredibly enjoyable.

In addition to my farm experience, I have worked extensively with children and young adults. After finishing school, I spent nine months in France working at a small Waldorf school in the countryside. There, I collaborated with teachers and often provided individual support to students who needed extra attention.

I’m now looking for more opportunities to engage in meaningful work outdoors or to work more closely with people in general. I have a deep appreciation for French language and culture and am eager to learn more!
