Hi, I’m Tim. I’m a Swiss student on a gap year and I’m super excited to experience new ways of living, meet new people and learn a bunch of new skills along the way!
I would love to join a family on a farm in Iceland or Scandinavia, contribute to everyday tasks, and learn through hands-on experience. I’m especially interested in farming, gardening and construction, and I enjoy physical work and spending time outdoors in all kinds of weather.
I really enjoy cooking for others and see food as a great way to connect. I look forward to sharing recipes and discovering local food traditions. I like any food, except for coriander ;), and am always open to try anything.
I grew up with cats and dogs and enjoy caring for animals. I’m reliable, hardworking, a good listener, and eager to learn new skills. I speak French, German, and English fluently.

I've got experience in handiwork: repairs, home improvement, woodworking, clearing brush assembling furniture...
I’m comfortable using hand tools and most power tools and I like physical outdoor work.

I’m happy to help with cooking, household tasks, and animal care.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences Engineering from EPFL and I did the mandatory Swiss military service as a helicopter crew member. This background taught me reliability, teamwork and problem-solving skills.
