Hello everyone!
As a bit of background ourselves, our names are Tim (27) and Charlotte (26) and we are from New Zealand.
We are currently traveling through Central America together, and planning to arrive in Europe in October. We are looking for exciting new ways to see Europe, so we have signed up to Workaway.
We are both incredibly outgoing, adventurous and active people. At some point in both of our lives we have lived in rural parts of New Zealand, so we both consider ourselves to be good with animals and hands on people with a can do attitude.
Prior to resigning from our full time jobs in New Zealand, to travel the world and settle down overseas, Tim was employed as a lawyer and Charlotte was employed as a financial advisor. We both love anything to do with the outdoors and have spent a lot of our lives skiing and climbing in the New Zealand alpine. We have both grown up with pets so are very familiar with looking after animals.
As part of Tim’s adventures, since leaving his job as a lawyer, he has competed in a cycling race from Canada to Mexico that took 39 days. Tim loves to ski and has previously done a ski season in Japan. Following our Workaway we both plan to do a ski season in Austria. Tim has previously been employed as a landscaper, maintenance man and farm hand, so believe he will be well suited to looking after pets, general maintenance or anything in between.
Charlotte grew up on a vineyard in New Zealand, so is particularly passionate about food and wine. She has grown up doing general landscaping and vineyard work for her parents and neighbours. She spent a small amount of time in her early childhood living in Bordeaux, so is also particularly interested in revisiting this sentimental time of her life and improving her French. Charlotte has recently completed her first half iron man, so is feeling strong and capable to tackle any heavy lifting jobs that are thrown her way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
We are both chatty, outgoing individuals, with great communication skills. Given that we have both previously worked in corporate jobs we enjoy and are experienced in working in team environments. We are fast learners and think we would be a great fit for your team at home! As noted in our background section, we are practical individuals that are up for any challenge.
We consider ourselves a relaxed couple, that are happy to go with the flow. We love the outdoors, so in our spare time we find ourselves doing anything from throwing a ball with our dogs at home to climbing remote mountains.
Obviously, we can’t spend all our time outdoors, so on rainy days we find ourselves relaxing with a book in hand, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or hosting friends or family.
