I am very interested in drama, engineering and I can't wait to learn new things and meet up new people !
Description

I am an engineering student and my school is letting me do an international project for 4 months. I chose to do something close to my heart: experience theater all around Europe! I'm planning to see (and participate if I can) in different festivals.

Why ? Well, I am currently the treasurer and an actor in my school's drama festival. Each year, we ask local amateur directors to present their projects to us (without condition of experience). If they are selected, we provide a place for their rehearsals, a budget for their costumes, two stage managers (I was one last year), all the legal paperwork for the music and play rights, and a stage for the final play. Our festival usually lasts 2 weeks and has nearly a thousand spectators from the region!

I know the text sounds like an ad, but I think it is the best way to express how invested I am in drama from the inside :). However, since I was in an intensive preparatory school, I didn't have the time to appreciate drama from the outside. Indeed, I am not that knowledgeable and I want to discover new things!

Doing a Workaway would be a great opportunity to see some plays and meet new people! Art is something that needs the perspective of others to improve :)

Additionally, I am quite fond of climbing (various types: lead, top rope, bouldering...). I even climbed France's highest outdoor urban climbing site (33m high) as shown in the profile picture !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I am an engineering student, I may be able to do some maintenance and help out to build things. Indeed, we have a lot of projects where we need to create robots from scratch. I also have some basics in web development (one of my internships was about developing an add-on for a website using a React framework).

Furthermore, I am also a novice actor, so I'm not afraid to speak in public and to make my voice heard from afar (playing in front of 100 people in a gymnasium was indeed an interesting experience with how my voice was muffled!). My experience in my drama festival also taught me some basics of accounting (I am in charge of our banking and tax filings) and stage management .

Additionally, I earned my BAFA (a French youth leadership certificate) in high school.

To put it in a nutshell, I am very curious and I am a fast learner!

He is a very kind and considerate young man. He is a thorough and reliable worker. He always reads the instructions carefully—whether it's for wood stain or a board game—so he makes sure he fully understands the requirements before getting started.
