Hi I am Therese
I am 19 years old and from Denmark. I graduated from high school in the summer 2023 and I am currently taking a gap year before starting to study medicin at Copenhagen University in februar 2025. I like being outdoors and enjoy hiking, running and swimming in the ocean. I am also very creative and use plenty of time to sew my own clothes, cooking, paint and make pottery. I love spending time, talk and laugh with my friends and family. I find it very interesting to meet new people and learn about different cultures and language than my own.

Hi! I’m Elfriede. I’m 21 years old and i’m from Denmark. I’m currently taking a gap year before starting my education as a midwife. I like being outdoors and hiking, especially if I'm with friends. I also like to knit and read, if I'm indoors. I would like to learn new practical skills such as gardening and building, even though I don't have much experience in these areas yet. I love to meet new people and socialize. I think it's very interesting to learn about new cultures and how things are done in other countries.

We know each other from "højskole", which is a danish consept, where young people spend half a year living at a school and learn creative and practical skills along with a lot of social activities. Therefor we are also both very used to being apart of a big social group.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Therese:
I spent six months at a Danish type of school called "højskole". My main subject was agriculture and self-sufficiency. I learned alot about sustainable farming and gardening. I have experience with taking care of animals like sheep and pigs, weeding and to sow and harvest crops. I like to sew in my free time and can sew clothes from scratch, but I can also mend broken clothing. I have also worked six months in an afterschool club for children aged 6 to 10 years old where I played and took care of the children.

Elfriede:
I have worked in a danish pre-school and is therefor very used to taking care of children. I very much enjoy beeing around chrilden. Knitting,
