Description
- History of volunteer work: environmental/political activist; care giver to homeless; care giver at Mariners Church day care center; care giver to home bound elderly; care giver to family/friends and their dogs/cats.
- On 5/1/19, I did my first ever overseas volunteer work through site called Help Stay at the fabulous Bake My Day Cafe in Ireland on Ring of Kerry. After 4 wonderful weeks in Ireland, I went to Germany on 6/1/19 for another 4 wonderful weeks where I helped out a lovely couple through a Workaway project. My most recent Workaway project was in Estonia (June 2021). Happy to share details about that absolutely wonderful experience with those interested in knowing more (reviews from hosts can be found on my profile).
- Regarding my career. Majority of it was spent as Office Manager in NYC. The volunteer activist work that I did during evenings & weekends off was much more rewarding then my day job.
- For those looking to practice English. I recently received TEFL certificate to teach English (happy to send copy of certificate upon request). Looking forward to eventually developing those skills further with some real time experience.

As a retired Office Manager, I still possess great organizational skills and project management skills. In 2023, dear friend (rescues animals) needed help while she recovered from surgery, so I happily took care of all her fur babies (see photos for few of them) until she was able to handle physical work again.
