Description
Hola! Me and my husband just got married in September and are currently trying to seize as much of our lives together as possible! Having fortunately travel many places myself, my husband was never so lucky and we wish to change that by soaking up as many different countries, languages, and cultures as we can.
I’m a history, politics, and sociology student (looking to go onto PhD currently), and he is a biology and ecology graduate interested in conservation and botany having worked with bats, reptiles, newts, and other such animals. We both come from families with lots of pets, as well as both worked with children (me 3-5 and Cam children of all ages), and have experienced many different job types while studying.
We are now looking to explore a year not just doing touristy activities across South and Central America, but looking to find out about its history, culture, and natural world. We’d love to experience community life through giving back and taking the opportunity to improve our Spanish and help those who we can volunteer with.
