Quelles sont vos compétences ?
A little about me;
I love to work with my hands and to be in nature! My dream is to own a piece of tropical land, be self sustainable by growing a range of tropical plants, medicinal and edible and thus I would love to get hands on experience preparing the land, growing, harvesting and processing different plants.
Workaway experience: Worked at La Jangada hostel and tour company in Leticia for 2.5 months ; cleaning, cooking, checking in guests, providing information about the local area, selling tours and going on tours in the Amazon as a translator which I LOVED (lots of hammock sleeping in the jungle, washing in rivers, hiking, working with and learning from local indigenous cultures).
Previously worked as a field service engineer installing, repairing and servicing laboratory research systems. It involved travelling a lot and using my toolkit.
A native English speaker and biology graduate, I taught English and Science lessons in Shanghai in schools and privately.
Known to give (satisfactory) haircuts for free
A passion of mine is dancing salsa and various other dances. In the UK I used to teach salsa lessons.
I enjoy painting, walking barefoot through mud, being in nature, being with animals, doing manual labour and using tools 😁.
My interests also lie in holistic health, energy work, healing, plant medicine and would love the opportunity to learn more about these fields.
