HELLO :)
I’m Swan, a 22-year-old French girl.

2 years ago, i started traveling around the world.
Initially I was just looking for myself, in a really deep introspection (still in process) but than, with time, I realized that traveling was one of the most complete thing in life, traveling makes people feels alive.

I consider myself a positive and productive person, responsible, motivated, independent and quit sensible. I like helping people (actually I need it), be part of project, community, ideas. I need stimulations, changes, physical and mental activities, feeling useful and active.

I learned so much traveling. I did things that I never thought I would be able of (as hard physical jobs in bio construction, farm and agriculture work). I also had opportunities of experiencing a lot of different things (beekeeping, animals care, ONG, housekeeping, hostel, French bakery, permaculture, gardening, babysitting, language teaching..).

I can adapt myself really easily to a new environment, people usually trust in my abilities and leave me with responsibilities, which is a really nice feeling. A good connection between the one who’s receiving volunteers and the volunteer who’s coming to help is really important to me, makes the relationship more honest, interesting, and real.

I’m used to live with people (families, communities, hostels). I’m really social, I like the idea of sharing experiences, ways of living, knowledge and opinions.

I speak French obviously haha), English and Spanish (quite well). I will be happy to teach you everything you want/need of my culture and I would love to learn about yours !

I am sociable, I like to talk, get to know new people, learn from them, exchange with them, ... However, I totally respect everyone's privacy and calm. I’ll try my best to never be intrusive, disrespectful, overly curious or even noisy, and if I am please, let me know without any worry or hesitation. Communication is really really important. I would be able to adapt my lifestyle to yours.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I said in the previous description, I learned many things while travelling in different areas. Those are some examples of what I can do
- Bio construction made of wood, ground, recyclable materials
- Using tools (chainsaw, saw, axe, hammer…)
- Farming, permaculture, Caring animals
- helping in the house (cleaning, tidying up, cooking, babysitting, housekeeping)
- working in a hostel (managing, reception, cleaning, attending clients, reservations…)
