Hello :)
My name is Sveva, I'm twenty-three and I'm from Bergamo (Italy), but I'm currently studying Education Science at the University of Genova.
In the past couple of years, before enrolling for college, I had the opportunity and the time to travel around a little bit and I realized how much I like meeting new people that live in another countries I know nothing about, speak a language different from mine and have ideas and thoughts I never thought before.

I can teach Italian (my mather language), English (level B2/C1) and some basic French (mainly conversations). I'm planning to learn a language with a non-latin alphabet, but they're too many and all potentially interesting, so I'm here, stuck in this void of unlimited possibilities.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've good organisation and auto organisation ability in manual and practical activities and fine cooperation and work skills in a group.

For two years, I've work as a volunteer for a non-profit organisation (ONLUS Organisation Fabbrica dei Sogni) helping kids with their homework, supporting the educators during the activities in a multicultural environment with elementary and middle school kids.

I worked for nine months with the association Sem&Vol (Solidarité Jeunesse), in Le Buisson de Cadouin, Dordogne (France). We organized and took part in multiple local workcamps and workshops with the local population and we animated International workcamp for teenagers in Bergerac and Coly St. Amand.

For four months, I worked as a nanny for a family in Keystone (South Dakota) and it really helped me to improve my English.

I then tried Workaway for the first time and I had the chance to spend few weeks in Hillerød (Denmark), helping in a garden.

I recently came back from Casablanca (Morocco), where I worked for two months in an English school, helping the teachers during the lessons and doing conversations with the students, kids, but also teenagers and adults.

I've good management competences (listening, mediation, problem solving) within a group of kids and children.

I've fine competences using Internet and Windows’ functions and I have the driving license (type B), if needed.

I’m interested in anthropology and languages, as well as working in a social enviroment.
I’m a music enthusiast, in the past I was a dedicated reader and I’m trying to restart, after a decrease period lasted some years.
I like gardening and I love animals (I have a dog, Margherita).
