Hi
My name is Steve.

I have recently become an EU and Italian citizen and am looking to explore work opportunities, learn languages, experience cultures and make friends.

I have been living a traveling educator lifestyle for the last half decade now. For the last few years I have been teaching science to students between the ages of 6 to 17 years old in the California and Colorado mountains.
I love teaching and learning with other young humans.

Before beginning my teaching career I spent a year traveling through Albania, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Hungary mostly working and getting certified as an English TEFL teacher and summer camp instructor, while also helping out at music festivals and hostels between teaching positions.

Before teaching and starting my traveling journey I spent the previous half decade building a career in sustainable energy, teaching volunteers to install and design solar photovoltaic systems for low income families.

As a young adult, before starting my professional careers I worked in a number of industries such as food service, hospitality, security, delivery, and construction applying my willingness to be helpful at any task and cultivate broad life experiences.

I intend to gain as much knowledge and enriching life experience as possible while journeying around the world as I search for a place I would like to call home.

I can help with any task you may require from troubleshooting or installing your solar system, to household or farm chores, or participating in any group activities in which I am welcome.
I like to believe I can learn anything and I enjoy being helpful.

I am interested in learning more skills involved in sustainable living, farming, building, artisan craftsmanship, vehicle and equipment maintenance, health, spirituality, and art.

I value individuality, equity, honesty and compassion and seek to incorporate these ideals into all of my interactions while learning and respecting the values of others.

I look forward to working, helping and learning with you soon.

I have a TEFL certification, and several months of experience helping English learners in Europe, and look forward to applying it in helping others improve their English. Interested in learning the language of anywhere I stay, especially in improving my Spanish and Italian. My Spanish and Italian are functional while I have started to learn the basics of German and French.
