Description

Hello, my name is Stella. I‘m 18 years old and I just graduated.
I come from a very small village and my family and I live on a farm with horses, cows, goats, ducks, chicken and pigs. Ever since I was a little girl I have loved going outside, being in nature and working with animals.
Besides, I have always loved learning new languages and getting to know new people and different cultures. That’s what motivated me to take a gap year and travel to Australia.
In my spare time I often work with children. I tutor 3 boys in English, French, German and Maths and I am part of a school program which offers workshops to students in which they can learn a lot about themselves, their identity and their classmates as well.
I love reading books and learning about new things. Overall, I would say that I am a rather adventurous, curious and open-minded person that likes to try new things.

Ever since I took part in my first exchange program to a small and picturesque town in the south of France I fell in love not only with French but also with getting to know new people and learning about different cultures. Learning new languages has always come to me rather easily but ever since then I have taken every opportunity to improve my language skills and expand them. And I hope on doing so in the future. About two years ago I even started tutoring French and English on a regular basis. So I am not necessarily a stranger to teaching a language.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I grew up on a farm, I‘m an expert when it comes to the daily tasks that have to be dealt with. Feeding and tending to animals is no problem for me. I even have a drivers license for a tractor and have experience driving.

I‘ve worked a lot with children in the past. I tutor 3 boys in English, French, German and Maths and I am part of a school program in which students are offered several workshops to learn more about themselves, their identity and what they want from their future and their life. Besides, I have completed a 2-month internship at the Youth Office. During this time I organized some events and activities for children and accompanied them.

I am also no stranger to household chores (doing laundry, cleaning, doing the dishes etc.). At home I help my parents on a regular basis with everyday tasks that arise.

I love being outside in nature, hiking and doing sports. But I also like to go to the cinema, grab dinner in the city or go out with my friends.
In my spare time I read every book that I can get my hands on. It never fails to soothe me to just dive into a different world and forget everything around you for a couple of hours.
I grew up with two younger sisters with whom I like to spend a lot of time. We often just hang out, bake something together or go outside for a short ride with our horses.
