Hello :) My name is Sophie and I am from Germany. I love reading, writing, making music, cooking (mostly vegan), hiking, doing Yoga and traveling (who would've guessed).
I am a sunshine lover and I feel most happy when I am surrounded by nature. I love the ocean and the feeling of sand under my feet, small rivers, old forests and animals (especially horses and dogs).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am pretty good at cooking and preparing meals for a group of people – I've always been the one who had to cook in my shared flats and I grew up with parents who were teaching cooking at evening schools and who absolutely love good food.

My mum is a great gardener and I learned some things from her. I wouldn't describe me as a talented gardener but I am always up for some extra knowledge and I am learning new things pretty fast.

I've always spent my holidays working full time in production companies or for our local community (collecting trash, cutting hedges etc). I am used to physical work.

I've studied literature and journalism in Austria and Germany, so I am pretty good at writing, correcting and proofreading. I've also learned how to take "good" photos and how to build a website. If you need help with social media that would also be no problem.

During school I used to give extra lessons to children (German, English, Music, History). I really love children and usually get along with them super well.

I've also learned how to play different instruments (guitar, violin, viola, piano) and how to sing. I am pretty good at playing the piano and I would love to share this with whoever is interested.

The last three summers I spent working at a sustainable forest-resort in southern Germany where I learned a lot about guest communication and sustainable tourism. I still work in their back office but also did some general maintenance, work around the resort and breakfast service while I was there.
I am also working for my university in a special research area at the moment.
