Description

Hi! I’m an outdoorsy, passionate person who enjoys being active, learning new skills, meeting new people and having a laugh together.

I’ve recently taken the leap to step away from my professional career to pursue my long-term goal of starting my own business. Before fully committing to that, I wanted to take some time for an adventure centred around my passion for horses, spending time outdoors, meeting new people, and gaining hands-on experience through Workaway. Over the past three years, since moving to Salisbury, I’ve been taking riding lessons and volunteering at a local stable, where I’ve helped with general yard duties. I’ve completely fallen in love with horses and really enjoy being around them and learning about their care.

I’m reliable, easy going, and happy to get stuck into whatever needs doing whether that’s mucking out, feeding, grooming, or helping around the property. I don’t mind early mornings or physical work, and I’m comfortable working independently once shown what to do.

Outside of this, I love being outdoors and going on adventures. I’m always looking for opportunities to travel and experience new places. I enjoy cycling🚲 , hiking, kayaking, and camping and I also spend a lot of my time on the wheel doing pottery as a creative outlet.
I’m passionate about food and cooking 🧑‍🍳 and would be happy to share my recipes with you. Maybe I can even teach you a few of my favorite card games too 🃏

I’ve had the amazing opportunity to have lived and worked in several countries including Malta, the Czech Republic, Dubai, Belgium, and the Maldives, which has given me a real appreciation for different cultures, meeting new people, and different ways of life.

I’m looking to learn, contribute, and be part of a positive environment. I’m motivated and driven to work hard, make the most of the experience, and contribute wherever I can while gaining more experience around horses (and any riding would be a bonus!).

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have hands-on experience with horses, including riding lessons, feeding, grooming, and general stable care. I also enjoy working outdoors, with gardening, planting, and I have agronomy knowledge from my BASIS degree.

I like to cook and am confident helping with childcare and pet care, including walking dogs. I hold a valid UK driving licence and am comfortable assisting with transport or errands when needed.

In addition, I bring professional and business experience, from my marketing roles and starting a business from scratch—useful for organization, planning, or supporting small projects.

I am adaptable, reliable, and enthusiastic, happy to help wherever needed, and eager to learn new skills.

I am happiest when I am being active outdoors and connecting with nature. Whether it’s riding horses, gardening, or going for walks. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with new recipes, and I’m always up for trying something creative and crafty.

I love meeting new people, having a laugh together and sharing conversations over a cup of tea. I’m easy going and happy to join in with any activities or hobbies hosts enjoy as well as take some time to myself independently to explore the surroundings.
