I've been a project manager and producer in the Film & TV industry in NYC for the last 8 years, and I'm ready for the next chapter. Looking to connect with and re-orient my life towards intentional communities, animals, and the earth. I'm hoping to use Workaway to do just that - to travel the world, connect with people in other cultures, help them with their projects, and learn new skills. So far I've been to: 25 US states, Mexico, Turks and Caicos, England, Ireland, France, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands. And I'm planning to walk 500 miles on the Camino de Santiago in Spain this Spring. Hoping to vastly diversify and expand this list in 2024 :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have excellent project management, people, and leadership skills from my experience in the film industry, as well as volunteer organizing for various political campaigns & causes. I am also not afraid of hard physical work or a mess; I volunteer at my local community garden's composting program and I love getting deep in the muck. I am also very creative and good with arts and crafts, as I come from a family of fine art painters (both parents and all four grandparents!); because of this, I also tend to pick up handy skills easily. I love animals and work well with them, especially dogs. From 15 to 22, I was a waitress, house keeper, bartender, and many other positions in the service industry. Overall, I am a hard worker, fast learner, and team player (and team leader if you need one!).
