Hola!

We are Brandon and Sofia, a couple living in Montreal, Quebec. We are getting a Working Holiday Visa for a year starting in July 2024. We want to experience the culture, to grow, to learn, share and participate in this beautiful community.

Sofia is originally from Mexico but she has been living in Canada for the past 14 years. She's a budding florist with a background in Social Work but her goal is to travel the world. She has lots of experience in hospitality and tourism. She's also fluent in Spanish, French and English.

Brandon is from Nova Scotia, Canada. He has a certificate in Horticulture Landscaping and he works as a horticulture landscape assistant here in Montreal.
His goal is also to travel the world. He has experience in hospitality and first studied Tourism and Hospitality. Brandon only speaks English but studies French and Spanish and he's really motivated to learn and he has a passion for languages.

We met in a hostel 8 years ago and since then we've been dreaming about travelling the world. School, family obligations, work and Covid had put our plans on hold. But we're finally making it happen this year.

We're choosing to Workaway because we want to learn new skills, new ways of doing and thinking and meet other travelers and hosts who share this passion for the world. Our philosophy in life is to see, learn, meet, taste, listen, dance, enjoy, help and feel as much as we can! We're choosing this nomadic life to prioritize what makes us feel alive!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Sofia's multilingual and she can always teach French, English or Spanish! She's a florist and has lots of experience in tourism and hospitality. She loves arts and nature. She is a fast learner and she's always open to learning any new skill.

Brandon is a team player and has worked at a Children`s Community Art Center as a gardener also as a Vineyard assistant for a Winery. He knows Botany for Gardeners, garden design, and garden maintenance. He knows how to cook and loves to learn.

We both have a TEFL certificate that permit us to teach English as a Foreign Language in schools and communities.
