Hey everyone :)
We are currently in Norway, but we will be in Brazil from December 2024 to February 2025. We are looking forward to discovering the Brazilian way of life and are ready to meet people!

Hello guys :)
We are Sofia (27yo and French) and Ondrej (27yo and Czech).
2 years ago, we quit our jobs and traditional lives to pursue our biggest dream: travel!
After one year of working in Australia, we had the chance to travel around Asia and Europe and make a 10-month stop in Norway! We deeply love discovering new ways of living, new cultures (+ new food!), and people to exchange and learn from each other.
We are now looking for a more meaningful way of traveling where sharing would be the main guideline. This is how we discovered the WorkAway platform and we feel ready to go on new adventures!

If we have to describe ourselves, we would say that we are full of joy, always smiling, and very adaptable! In our time, we love to read, practice yoga, be in nature, cook, and share moments with friends and family. Also, we believe that a smile or an attentive ear can make a difference in someone's life. This is why Workaway makes a lot of sense to us as it is about sharing on both sides through giving a bit of your time and help.

Because we are an international couple, we both speak different languages (french and Czech) and use English in our daily life to communicate, but also because we had the chance to travel a lot. We have always been very passionate about languages and how they impact our lives. On the other hand, we are very interested in teaching. One year ago, we went to Vietnam and had the opportunity to teach English to kids and young adults. Since this experience, we remember how positive and powerful that time was for us. We hope to do it again! Also, I (Sofia) just graduated from the TEFL Academy, which is the Teaching English as a Foreign Language diploma. So, I feel that it's time for me to activate what I have learned so far :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We may be a couple indeed, but we have very different skills that can be a good match and especially very adaptable depending on the Workaway :)

Ondrej has great adaptability to new environments and communication. He likes to cook and take care of manual tasks at home, outside (or related to his car haha!). He also has a lot of experience in hospitality but mainly related to coffee roastery and coffee shops, he can do latte art very easily and knows a lot about this topic. On the other hand, Ondrej is very sporty and good at many sports. He has a great capability for endurance and strength work. He is also good at taking photos and videos and has an important sense of detail.

Sofia is also easily adaptable to new environments. Due to her previous work, which was to be a social worker, she developed a very important sense of caring and can listen and give advice in a non-judgmental way. She knows how to bake and cook, make people laugh, and be very productive and proactive. She is also able to work with kids and/or create activities adapted to different types of people.
