Hello! I am a Portuguese musician working as a piano-vocalist in the cruise ship industry. My job allows me to travel extensively and perform for international audiences, but it also gives me long breaks between contracts.

My next contract is scheduled to start in the UK from mid-May. Until then, I am keen to use this period of time to explore different opportunities, meet interesting and fun people, and of course, do some songwriting and keep working on my voice.

I moved to the UK in 2012 to further my studies and, after University, both love and work kept me there. I eventually made it my permanent home, securing Settled Status when Brexit took place. In recent years, however, I’ve been splitting my time between Portugal and the UK due to family and work commitments.

Beyond music, I have a variety of interests and skills. I have considerable office experience, having worked both as an Administrator and as a Compliance Officer, and would be delighted to use these abilities to contribute to small businesses with their admin.

I love working with children and witnessing young minds grow. I taught children as young as four while running my piano tutoring business (which I did for four years, before moving on to Publishing). Alongside that, I worked as a tutor for a large teaching agency in Brighton and Hove, as an activities coordinator for a summer camp and did occasional babysitting.

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend some time living on a biodynamic farm, where I helped care for a small herd of Jersey cows. This experience deepened my appreciation for sustainable living, working with animals and life outdoors. I am very interested to learn more about these subjects; in a not-so-distant future, I would like to set myself up to be more self-sufficient.

Furthermore, as a native speaker, I am fluent in Portuguese and would be very happy to share my knowledge. Whether through creative activities or hands-on experiences, I’m always looking for meaningful ways to connect and contribute.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As a musician, I have experience in both performance and teaching (particularly children), and I would be happy to collaborate in any projects that may require these skills. I can use video and music software.

I have worked in a range of office jobs, so I'm comfortable with working on a computer and would be happy to assist with any tasks you may have on this front :-)

As far as physical work goes, such as gardening/ farming, I don't have much experience. I used to have a little allotment, so I know the very basics when it comes to growing vegetables. Other than that, I lent a hand with feeding animals and milking, harvesting fodder beet and some weeding. I would like to learn more about this and become more independent.
