Description
My name is Skye, married in May 2023. My wife and I seek to leave everything behind and travel the world. We plan on a year of world travel. We love volunteering since it allows a unique window into the country and people, which could be far more valuable than travelling via hotels and airbnbs.
I am open to all manor of work, I love construction, stone and woodwork, my wife likes housework, gardening and pets. we are both able to speak French & English, I speak a little Italian. The farm lifestyle is something we enjoy and we relish in the learning of practical skills. We are quite malleable and can adapt to most of what will be required of me.
I've personally done Workaway twice in the past during another trip, it was wonderful. My wife and I have also done pet sitting and we've had only great experiences.
For work Naomi works in the St. Mary's hospital in Montreal as a visual worker and I as a mason (construction) but I also work part time with teenagers at the YMCA community center.
