Hello! I am Martina from Vienna/Austria, my friends also call me Martini, I am half retired but still working as a freelancer that is why I am here! I used to work as a project manager for an environmental NGO, so I am much interested in ecological issues. I am also a language trainer for English and French and can also teach my mother tongue German. My idea is to work & travel & live in different cultures to get to know them more deeply. I am fond of nature, sports, languages :), good humour, music, books, movies. I like wilderness, hot climate and a simple life. My sense for adventure and curiosity motivate me most, as well as my wish to contribute something to people and animals. I enjoy meeting people and deep conversation, if we happen to share the same kind of humour then it is great! I always want to learn something new and I want to work manually more than I used to do in the past.
This year I have learned to do the crawl (really difficult), kayaking and harvesting olives (a hard but rewarding work), so I am looking forward to 2024!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Language teaching: German (mother tongue), English and French. I have a lot of experience in teaching adults and kids as well. I also speak Spanish, but would need some brush up myself e.g. in a Spanish speaking country. I have a basic knowledge in Italian and Portuguese. I am currently trying to learn Russian as I teach German to Ukrainians.
Project Management: I used to work in this field for an environmental NGO for 17 years including development, submission and implementation of national and international projects. I have a lot of experience and would like to contribute my knowledge to any meaningful project worldwide.
I am very communicative, can present and explain well, can also moderate discussions. I am more interested in analogue life than in digital life and I would like to work manually-

I am easy going, love communication, but also need to be on my own from time to time.
I love sports especially swimming, hiking and cycling. This year I have learned kayaking and I want to continue doing it.
Age is not an issue to me, I am still very fit and very active and many of my friends are younger than me. My motto is to learn something new every day. And I need to be active, the older I get, the more active I want to bel.
I have 2 sons, my granddaughter is 5 and my grandson was born in August 2024. I love spending time with kids as I sometimes enjoy behaving like a kid myself .
