Hi! We are Simona & Carlo.
We are a young couple, and we're looking for a new and different experience of life: going out from our comfort-zone, discovering new ways to live, creating relationships with people, animals and the whole environment.
We love nature and we care a lot about it, by following a plant-based diet, buying less and better, reusing and repairing things, self-producing cosmetics and cleaning products. Our goal is to gain a zero waste life! We'd love to improve our lifestyle by living as simple as possible and by helping people.

I'm Simona and I'm a primary school teacher. I like taking care of children and animals, travelling, learning and practising languages, cooking vegan food (and eating, of course!) and being in the nature! I chose this experience because I really want to grow as a person, by connecting myself with the other parts of the Earth. I want to make the world a better place, by giving my little contribution of love!

Hi, I'm Carlo, a curious guy who loves music and DIY. I studied and worked in the food world for most of my life. I think that volunteering is the best way to have an exchange of resources, offering time and knowledge for happiness and love.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

During this year in South America we learnt about the process of the coffee cultivation, we made organic chocolate, we took care of lots of sick cats in a cat shelter, we did gardening, helping cooking and leading class to kids in foreign languages and environmental education.

About Simona
-Teaching kids: I taught in a Montessori Bilingual School in Poland, in an Eco-school in Finland, and I have a few years of experience in Italian schools. I'd like to support education and kids' rights, especially in villages with the most vulnerable children.
-Speaking Spanish and English: I had experiences in Spain, Poland, Finland where I could learn and practise these beautiful languages. I love sharing knowledge, interests and cultures with other people because it's the best way to enrich myself and feel a deeper connection with other human beings. I'd love to learn other languages, too!
-Cooking balanced vegan food: I always enjoyed cooking and after becoming vegan I started to study and create more colourful and balanced meals. I'd like to help other people to prepare food, share and learn recipes.
What else? I am so good at giving hugs to the trees, petting cats and so on :D

About Carlo
-Cooking: I worked as a cooker for 5 years. I worked in Kuwait, Australia and in various restaurants in Italy. I would like to share my knowledge helping in the preparation and learning recipes and techniques.
-Doing gardening: by living in the countryside I learnt how to take care of plants and I'm getting to know permaculture principles and new techniques. I would like to be part of projects to grow fruits and vegetables respecting nature.
-Making DIY: I like crafting. I create with my partner soaps and other stuff that are useful for us and the environment, such as a composter.
-Playing the guitar: I studied guitar in a private school for 5 years. I would like to teach the basics of music.
-Taking photos: I also like taking photos and videos. I would love to report our travel experience.
