Hi, I’m Silvia from Germany.

I love travelling and discovering new places, cultures and ways of life. Over the last few years I’ve learned that some of the best travel experiences come from connecting with local people and becoming part of everyday life for a while.

I’m a friendly, reliable and open-minded person who enjoys meeting people from different backgrounds. I like learning new skills, helping where needed and stepping outside my comfort zone.

In my free time I enjoy photography, videography, hiking, nature, animals, camping and exploring hidden places. I also love creating travel content and documenting my adventures through photos and videos from time to time but still like to leave my phone at home as much as possible and be present in the moment.

I am currently planning longer trips around the world and would love to combine travelling with meaningful cultural exchange through Workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a hands-on, reliable and positive person who genuinely enjoys helping, learning and being part of new experiences. Growing up and living on a farm with cows and other animals has taught me responsibility, hard work and the value of working together. Taking care of animals and helping with daily farm tasks has always been a natural part of my life.

Over the years, I have also had the opportunity to work on different farms abroad, including horse farms and fruit farms, where I helped with harvesting, planting, animal care and general farm maintenance. These experiences showed me how rewarding it can be to contribute to a project, learn new skills and connect with people from different backgrounds.

I enjoy practical work and am happy to help with gardening, DIY projects, painting, organizing, cleaning and general maintenance. I learn quickly, adapt easily and am not afraid to get my hands dirty. At the same time, my professional background in administration and customer service has made me organized, responsible and comfortable working independently.

What I enjoy most is being useful, meeting inspiring people and contributing to something meaningful. I always do my best to bring a positive attitude, curiosity and a strong work ethic wherever I go. Whether it’s helping on a farm, supporting a family, caring for animals or assisting with a project, I am excited to learn, contribute and become part of the experience.
