Hello!
I am Sigrid from Denmark.
Currently, I'm taking a break from studies to travel around the world and get to know myself better. I am very interesed in the cultures of the world, and it brings me great joy to learn and understand how we are all the different. I especially like to be integrated in homes to get to know the culture as it really is - not just the touristy stuff, that just scapes the surface.
But even though I really like to explore and seek this connection, I also enjoy the silence and peace. As an introvert I like to take a break and be creative with arts and crafts of all sorts. A walk in beautiful landscape it also highly apreciated.
I can seem like I'm a shy person at first, but once you get to know me, I'm very talkative. My positive mindset is a great strength of mine - it usually helps me in seeing the best in every situation, so I'm not easily knocked out by challenges or difficulties.

Language is beautiful! I love beeing able to communicate with people in their native language, since I believe I get much more substance. I had the privilege of learning Spanish be speaking it with native Spanish speakers during my exchange year in Argentina. It adds a whole other layer of understanding one another! I'm going to study linguistics for this exact reason. If I'm able to teach or learn during my stay, I would love to!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm familiar with everyday household chores such as cooking, weeding, vaccuming, dusting, etc.
I have experience with childcare age 0,5-3 years old.
I have also worked with children aged 10-13 with extra need for care (they had alcoholism or neglec in their families). Many of the childred had additionally ADHD or dyslexia.
I have experience with tutoring and helped with homework.
I am very organised and can help with deep cleaning and reaaranging if needed.

If possible, I would love to be integrated as a family member, where I stay.
Family is everything to me, and even though me and my siblings are no longer living togerther, we prioritise speding time together - usually with a boardgame, a movie, a mystery-solving game or a nice talk.
