Hello! This is a shared account of my friend Yujung and l. I'm from China and currently traveling alone. I’m very happy to join the Workaway community.

I love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. For me, traveling is not just about moving from place to place, but about seeing the many sides of the world and learning from them. Growing up in a mountainous area in China, my life was once quite limited, but after going to university, I realized how big and diverse the world truly is. Since then, I’ve always wanted to explore beyond my comfort zone and experience life from a broader perspective.

After graduating, I worked at Shanghai Disneyland for nearly four years. During this time, I worked with colleagues from different countries and served guests from all over the world. This experience helped me become more responsible, flexible, and open-minded. I truly enjoyed creating a warm and welcoming environment for people, and I learned how to work well in a team while also being reliable and independent.

I’m an easygoing, positive, and dependable person. I’m happy to help wherever I’m needed and I take my responsibilities seriously. I also enjoy sharing cultures — if you’re interested in Chinese culture or Mandarin, I’d be more than happy to share my knowledge and stories. I also come from a minority ethnic group in China called the Dong people, and I enjoy sharing different cultural perspectives.

In August this year, I was lucky to receive an Australian Working Holiday Visa. I feel this is the right time for me to step out into the world, use my own feet to explore new places, and contribute my time and energy while learning from others. I’m really looking forward to meaningful exchanges, new friendships, and wonderful experiences through Workaway.
