Hi!! I’m Shayli :) I’m currently on a backpacking gap year fullfilling my dream of traveling and volunteering.
I love love people, nature and learning new things about the world!
I find joy in wittnessing and exploring all the small things make us human :)
In my free time I enjoy volunteering within my local community and helping with different project managments.
I love putting my everything into the work I do and I’m looking forward to working in meaningful environments

I’m a high school graduate fluent in english as my first language. I would love to teach spoken and conversational english as well as reading, writing and possibly even literature and creative writing. I love books, literature and I love writing poems in my free time.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have some official pst experience in NGO project managments :)
I used to volunteer at The Peace Index and was responsible for assisting operations, recruiting, HR & Internship program management. (The Peace Index is an NGO solving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict through effective funds allocation, data & political science.)

I’ve also done grassroot enviromental activism work, and helped in logistics, organizing protests and holding lectures in schools all over the country.

But aside from all of this I just really love working with people, and making the world even just a tiny bit happier.
At home I volunteer a lot in baking for my local community- I love seeing how food brings people together

I also have a blue belt in taekwondo, and even though I stopped practicing a few years back due to an injury I can gladly teach some basic things. :)
I’ve also played the cello since my childhood and I have extensive knowledge about music and music theory.
In my free time I also do pottery and sculpting-
I love arts, whether it’s writing, ceramics music, cooking or baking :)

And lastly I always find so much magic in playing with my neighbour’s and family’s kids- seeing and making people happy is what gives me meaning in life. :)
