Hey, we are Afshan & Jorge, together since 6 years, recently happilly married and starting our life adventure together - like we always have.
We met for the first time while working in a hotel together, so we are a perfect team in both, private & work. We are a Persian-Chilean Couple, living at the moment in Hamburg, Germany.

We are cheerful & tolerant persons, enjoying meeting new people and making connections for a lifetime. We are peaceful souls who seek out nature, as it helps us connect with ourselves and our spirituality.

Traveling for us means living and connecting with people from other cultures, learning from them, and also giving something in return.
What we value the most are the beautiful memories and the stories I gather along the way.

"One of Afshan (Shani's) biggest skills is her passion for painting on canvas with acrylic colors. She loves getting lost in the creative process. She is all about crafts and DIY projects. She even remodeled our own furniture at home. Anything that involves working with hands and bringing ideas to life.
She also enjoys doing creative work at the computer like website design, photo and video editing, and designing cards, logos, or tables. Every kind of design, she is putting all the effort in it and likes to organize and making things look great.
What I love about her - because the way to a man's heart is through his stomach - she makes the best cakes and is the confectioner in the family." ~ Jorge

"I love coming home and hearing the piano sounds - because Jorge is a music teacher and our life if always filled with music. He teaches piano, guitar and since he loves Rock also the E-Guitar.
Jorge is super organized and clean, which makes our home life run smoothly. He’s also incredibly perseverant. When he sets his mind to something, he’ll see it through to the end, no matter what.
He is also the go-to person for fixing things around the house. He’s always coming up with ways and solutions to get things working again.
And I am not the only baker here. Jorge has a special talent for making doughs, especially pizza dough and fresh bread. His creations are always delicious!" ~ Afshan (Shani)

We love growing our own food or plants in general, and see the nature doing magic. For years, we’ve been growing food in the garden. Its like meditation - it gives us peace.
Another thing we are good at is hosting - we love planning and hosting gatherings, cooking meals together and making sure everyone has a good time. Working in a hotel and having a big family has helped our skills in this area, and we like planning all the details to perfection.

We like doing music together, even when my (Afshan's) Instrument skills are limited but we have fun jamming together and connect with people through music! We watch a lot of travel & nature documentaries together to see the world while at home. Living in a big city is very exhausting for us and we always seek nature and serenity to find peace and reconnect with ourselves and our spirituality.
