Hello!

I'm Scott, I am a Veterinary Medicine in London starting in September 2023. This year I am hoping to travel, and contribute to worthwhile causes. In March and April of last year I spent 5 weeks at my first work away in a jungle animal rescue centre in Bolivia and in June I spent 5 weeks teaching English at camps across Italy.

Last year I travelled the east coast of the USA, stopping off for courses with The New York Times and Berklee College of Music. I also visited Canada, the UK and went inter-railing through Europe. I have work experience in over 10 animal environments including: vet practices, farms, shelters, and even dolphin and elephant rescues! I have also worked as a lab technician in my old school, a swim and rugby coach, music teacher, english teacher and bartender.

I addition to some experience teaching, I have a TEFL qualification. I really want to learn new languages, at the moment I’m trying to learn Italian and Spanish.

One of my favourite pastimes is playing and listening to music, especially rock jazz and funk (the 70s is my go to). I play guitar, piano and bass at local jazz bars, and write my own songs. I would love to have some singalongs or just offer entertainment! I'm also a very keen home cook and would be happy to help out if that's useful.
